We have been working tirelessly for over three months on Divi, and it feels great to finally release the most powerful theme we have ever created. Divi is the smartest, most flexible theme in our collection. Its advanced page builder and collection of robust modules allow you to create pages from the ground up, giving you complete creative control over your website. Whether you are creating a new online portfolio, an eCommerce storefront, or a new home for your business, Divi ships with everything you need to make your vision a reality…
Last week we posted Origin Theme CSS Tricks and got a few comments about applying the effects within Divi. Below are a number of CSS tricks to help customize your Divi Theme project and product thumbnails. Each example has an animated preview and a block of custom CSS required to achieve the effect. As always, we recommend that you add all custom CSS via a Child Theme or the Custom CSS Box in ePanel.
In our Divi launch post, we asked you to suggest a feature that you would like to be added to the theme. We received tons of great suggestions, and after sifting through over 900 comments, we have gathered those suggestions into a single survey so that you can vote on which features you want the most. By voting, you can help us make Divi even better by letting us know which features are most valued by our community. This is only be beginning for Divi, and we can’t wait to take it to the next level. Vote below and help us make our best theme even better.
You’d be surprised what a few lines of CSS can do. Today, we would like to share a few easy customizations that you can make to your Divi Theme using only the Custom CSS panel in our ePanel Theme Options. There is even a good chance that some of these customizations will be theme options in future updates of Divi. To apply this changes, simply copy and paste the code mentioned into the “Custom CSS” box in ePanel, which can be found under the Appearances > Theme Options tab in your WordPress Dashboard.
Last week, we released a set of perfectly-sized device templates for Divi. Today, we are releasing a similar set of more general-purpose images that can be used in any number of situations. With Divi, you can place images anywhere on your site with the image module. The images you upload will span the full width of the column, but will never exceed the dimensions of the original file. To take full advantage of this feature we recommend that your images are at least the width of the column that you are placing them in. In this download we have supplied an array of perfectly sized image templates that you can use in your Divi Theme. Here are a few samples from the Divi image pack in every column-width that Divi has.
Sections are the biggest building block in the Divi builder. You can think of them as horizontal stacking blocks that can group your content into visually distinguishable areas. In Divi, everything you build starts with a section. This content wrapper has various settings that can be used to do some really awesome things.

One of Divi’s greatest features is its ability to Save and Load custom layouts. In this post, I will be going over how Developers can use this feature to kickstart their design process when creating new websites. Whenever you build a new page using the Divi Builder, you can save that layout for future use. The next time you need to create a similar page, you can load your premade template to kickstart your page instead of building all of the modules from scratch.
